Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a CDL Driver Trainee to join our delivery team in Maryland. This entry-level role trains you to safely operate a delivery vehicle, service accounts, unload and merchandise products, and uphold DOT and company standards.

You'll learn daily routes across our PBV network, gain hands-on experience, and work toward earning a Class A CDL while delivering quality service to customers. Candidates valuing safety, accuracy, and teamwork are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Zero to two years of commercial driving experience with CDL preferred
• Class A CDL required
• DOT physical before first day
• Ability to obtain CDL permit within 45 business days if not held
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete tasks

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on truck per DOT requirements
• Safely drive a truck with GVW per DOT
• Safely unloads products and check-in procedures
• Stock shelves and displays with proper rotation
• Break down boxes and manage returns for credits
• Obtain signatures, stamps, and invoices for end-of-day settlement
• Communicate issues to store personnel and management
• Follow DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Other duties as assigned
