Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Trainee-DOT to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on learning all aspects of a Route Delivery Driver position, including safe operation of the delivery vehicle and servicing accounts along a designated route by delivering, unloading, and merchandising products per PBV standards.

The Trainee DOT will perform pre/post-trip inspections, safely drive and unload products, stock shelves, and ensure proper check-in procedures while adhering to DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of commercial driving experience with a CDL is preferred.
• Class A CDL required.
• Must pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment.
• Positive attitude and detail oriented.
• Perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must meet PBV driving qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Pre/post-trip inspections on truck per DOT requirements.
• Safely drive a truck with vehicle weight under or over 26,000 pounds.
• Safely unloads product and ensures proper check-in procedures.
• Stock shelves, racks, coolers, and displays with proper rotation.
• Break down boxes and remove flats, damages, and empty cases for proper credit.
• Obtain required signatures, store stamps, and invoices.
• Communicate issues to store personnel and management.
• Follow DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
