Job summary

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP) is hiring an AOD Support Staff I Registered - MC Swing Shift to assist in treatment services and ensure program safety and security.

The role involves participating in group counseling, crisis management, and completing required EHR records under supervision. The position supports beneficiaries in treatment, monitors premises, conducts bag and person screening, assists with client support, and transports participants as needed.

Qualifications

• AA or higher degree in related field.
• Bi-lingual, Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
• Understanding of harm reduction approach with participants.
• Willing to work with substance abuse clients, mental health, LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS.

Responsibilities

• On-site duties including monitoring and security of program premises.
• Assist in alcoholism and drug counseling under supervision of a Certified AOD Counselor.
• Record and report daily activities and incidents; maintain client records in EHR.
• Provide client/participant support including intake, group sessions, and transportation when needed.
• Ensure safety, security, and orderly operation of program facilities.
