Job summary

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP) is seeking an AOD Support Staff I Registered - MC to provide services to clients in treatment while ensuring safety and security on the program premises.

The role includes group counseling participation and maintaining required records as education and supervised hours toward certification are pursued. Responsibilities include assisting in counseling activities, monitoring safety, transport as needed, and performing administrative tasks

Qualifications

Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
Valid Driver’s license or State ID.
ASAM training modules (Within 2 weeks of hire).
Complete required education and supervised hours to achieve certification.

Responsibilities

Provide AOD counseling services under supervision, including screening, assessment and intake.
Assist in group and educational sessions and in discharge planning.
Monitor program premises for security and safety; report incidents.
Help clients with self-administration of medication per procedure; record in EHR.
Input required data to computer systems and logs (EHR and databases).
Complete other duties to support program mission as needed.
