Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking an AOD Support Staff III Certified for the MC swing shift to support treatment programs and ensure safety on-site. The role includes counseling, coordination with clinical staff, and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Valid California Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must maintain AOD Credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary alcohol and drug counseling services (screening, assessment, intake).
• Collaborate with case manager and therapist on treatment plans.
• Maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) and required reports.
• Monitor medication administration and shift reports.
• Mentor and train junior AOD staff.
• Ensure safety and security of program premises and participants.
