Job summary

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP) is seeking an AOD Support Staff II for the swing shift to assist in treatment services and ensure safety on-site.

Under supervision of a certified counselor, you will participate in counseling activities, monitor medication self-administration, and support participants during group sessions. You will also contribute to case coordination, complete required EHR entries, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for clients and

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Completed statutory AOD coursework Requirements.
• ASAM Modules 1 and 2 completion within 2 weeks of hire.
• Registered and in good standing in an Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification program.

Responsibilities

• Screening, assessment, and intake under supervision.
• Group and educational sessions participation.
• Monitor self-administration of prescribed medication and maintain records.
• Discharge and transition planning; complete EHR documentation.
• Transport participants to offsite appointments as needed.
• Monitor program entrance, screen bags and persons, and patrol premises for security.

AA or higher degree in related field

Registered AOD Counselor certification program (CCAPP/CADTP/CADEE)
