Job summary

VOALA is hiring an AOD Support Staff III Certified MC Swing Shift to deliver counseling and education to beneficiaries in treatment settings. The role includes supervising junior staff, coordinating with case management, and maintaining program security and safety on-site in Los Angeles.

The position requires an AOD credential, ability to work a swing shift, and a willingness to mentor colleagues while ensuring compliance with program policies and EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Valid California Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain AOD Credential.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide AOD counseling and education to clients.
• Collaborate with case managers and therapists on treatment plans.
• Document in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and keep shift reports.
• Monitor medication administration and client safety.
• Train and mentor junior AOD staff and provide mentoring to participants.
