Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician II in Braselton, GA to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and uphold J.B. Hunt standards with supervision.

The role supports onboarding trainees, participates in OE training, and requires outdoor work across multiple shifts. A strong safety mindset and good communication are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT and FHWA inspections and air brakes
• Able to supply basic tools or participate in toolbox program
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements and across multiple shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment according to specifications
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and complete work orders
• Mentor trailer technician trainees
• Participate in OE training for OE repairs
• Follow shop safety procedures and communicate with team and customers
• Maintain knowledge of company requirements for SRT and warranty guidelines
