Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Georgia seeks a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repair on trailers and related equipment under supervision, troubleshoot issues, and complete fleet maintenance to meet company standards.

This position offers growth through the Technician Career Advancement program, safety incentives, uniforms, and a boot program. Applicants must have at least 2 years of semi-trailer maintenance experience and be able to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of semi-trailer maintenance and repair experience or equivalent
• Experience with DOT and FHWA inspections is preferred
• Able to supply basic tools or participate in toolbox program

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers
• Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs to specs
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring technicians
• Participate in OE training for repairs
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain professional communication
