Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a trailer technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers and other equipment.

You will troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and ensure compliance with company standards and warranty guidelines. The role includes shifts that vary by location, opportunities for career growth, uniforms with a boot program, and a safety-focused culture with bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes
• Able to supply basic tools or purchase through toolbox program
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements
• Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment
• Troubleshoot issues and complete work orders per SRT and warranty guidelines
• Mentor trailer technician trainees and participate in OE repair trainings
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with personnel and customers
