Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers. You will troubleshoot issues, complete fleet maintenance, and ensure compliance with J.B. Hunt standards.

The role supports a maintenance team with opportunities to advance within the Technician Career Advancement program, and shifts may vary by location. Eligibility for sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with 2 years in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent experience
• 1 year of DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes experience
• Able to supply basic tools or participate in toolbox program

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer systems
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and perform intermediate repairs per specs
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring of trainees
• Participate in OE training for repair procedures
• Follow shop safety procedures at all times
• Maintain professional communication with customers and J.B. Hunt personnel
