Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic II to perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, light repairs, and related duties in a dedicated on-site shop environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience; ASE certifications are preferred. Expected tasks include diagnostics, repairs, and adherence to DOT and safety regulations. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.
• DOT regulations and safety training are required to be met.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Determine parts needed and coordinate with Parts Department.
• Perform scheduled DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Repair and service light, medium, and heavy trailer systems and components.
