Job summary

McLane is seeking a Shop Mechanic II in Minnesota to perform diesel repairs on trailers and refrigeration equipment. You will handle preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical systems, and complete required paperwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires experience with trailer refrigeration, read service bulletins, and maintain safety and work rules. We offer benefits starting after 60 days and a generous on-site shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of diesel repair experience on tractors/trailers and refrigeration maintenance.
• Current Class C license; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diesel repairs on trailers and refrigeration units.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical systems and repair as needed.
• Read service bulletins and manuals; maintain shop tools and paperwork.
