Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience for our Portland, OR facility. Join a team known for service excellence and a robust benefits package.

Applicants will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers, service tanks, install suspensions, and work with air brake systems. TIG welding on aluminum/steel is preferred, with compliance to DOT HM183/hazmat standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair of trailers.
• Trailer suspension installation and repair.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• TIG aluminum and steel welding experience.
• Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT HM183 and hazmat standards.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical or other systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair on trailers.
• Install and repair trailer suspensions.
• Maintain and repair air brake systems.
• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and steel.
• Inspect tanks and trailers to ensure DOT HM183/hazmat compliance.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience, to join our team at our Portland, OR facility!

Shift Hours

Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Pay Range

$27.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum and steel welding experience
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
