Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is hiring DOT inspection certified mechanics for our Odessa, TX facility. The role requires 2 to 5+ years of tank trailer repair experience and will involve diagnosing failures, performing tank service and repair, and ensuring compliance with DOT standards.

Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this on-site position. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with pay range of $21–$41 per hour depending on experience; skill-based reviews occur

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certification required.
• 2–5+ years of tank trailer repair experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and up to 75 lb with assistance.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2 to 5+ years of tank trailer repair experience at our Odessa, TX facility!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay Range: $2100 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated Skill In Most Of The Following Areas

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
