Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of truck and tank/trailer repair for our Fife, WA location.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Pay Range: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Benefit options include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of truck and tank/trailer repair experience.
• Experience with tank service and repair.
• Welding experience (TIG/MIG) preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat) and confined spaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other systems on a tank trailer.
• Perform tank service and trailer repairs.
• Install and repair trailer suspension and associated components.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to ensure compliance with DOT standards.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of truck and tank and/or trailer repair for our Fife, WA location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Range: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience preferred
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
• Background in confined space entry (preferred)
• Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
