Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT-certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill, NJ location. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers, perform tank service, suspension work, and welding. The role requires DOT inspection experience and a strong safety mindset.

Join a team tied to Quala, Boasso Global, and PSC, with competitive pay and benefits. Shift is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, in Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or other systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair tasks.
• Install and repair trailer suspension components.
• Work with air brake systems and perform related repairs.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to meet DOT standards and complete inspections.
• Welding and fabrication experience, TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tank trailer systems as needed.
• Perform scheduled and urgent repairs to ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintain safety standards and document inspections.

We are currently searching for a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill, NJ location!

Address: 1003 Astoria Blvd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections
• Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
