McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a mechanically skilled Mechanic II to perform a wide range of repairs on trailers and refrigeration power units.

You will handle both simple and complex mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep fleet operations running smoothly. The role requires at least two years of diesel repair experience, a trade or technical school background, ASE PMI certification (T8) preferred, and a valid Class C license with Class A

Qualifikationen

• Two years of diesel repairs experience on tractor-trailers and refrigeration maintenance.
• Trade school or equivalent in heavy-duty diesel repairs.
• ASE PMI certification or willingness to obtain PMI (T8).
• Valid Class C license; Class A preferred.
• Proactive, safety‑compliant, and able to read service manuals.

Aufgaben

• Perform all repairs on trailers and refrigeration power units.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complex diagnostics.
• Operate shop tools and read service bulletins and manuals.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates; work independently as needed.
