Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, diesel/refrigeration training, and 2 years of relevant experience. A Class C license is required, with Class A preferred; ASE PMI certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Trade school in heavy duty diesel repairs or refrigeration preferred.
• 2 years diesel/tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• Class C license; Class A preferred.
• ASE PMI certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Diagnose, remove, repair, replace or rebuild components.
• Carry out complex mechanical and electrical repairs without supervision.
• Perform front wheel and axle alignments on trailers.
• Read service bulletins and use technical manuals.
• Complete all paperwork and maintain shop tools.
