Job summary

Toyota North America seeks a Technical Lead (Salesforce Platform) to architect and build scalable Salesforce-based solutions in Plano, TX. You will influence cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive best practices across complex integrations with cloud-native services.

You will own Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel initiatives and lead design decisions to deliver high-performing, secure platforms while embracing GenAI-assisted development and modern DevOps workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering.
• 12+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven track record designing/operating large-scale systems.
• Advanced Salesforce Service Platform expertise (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel, Apex, LWC, Omni Studio, Shield).
• Deep Salesforce integration patterns (REST, Bulk APIs, Platform Events).
• Strong distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Harness) integrated with Salesforce.
• Knowledge of observability, security, compliance, and performance.
• Exposure to GenAI in software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Omni-Channel, and related technologies.
• Own cross-domain technical initiatives spanning Salesforce, backend services, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive architecture decisions and engineering best practices for operations.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and guidance.
• Innovate by integrating AI-powered tools into the software lifecycle.
• Ensure platform security, observability, and compliance.
