Job summary

Responsibilities include traffic signal design, road lighting, ITS, signal timing, and cost estimation. Collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams is essential, with opportunities for leadership and field work.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 5–10 years of experience in the discipline.
• Active P.E. license required for civil candidates; EIT acceptable if able to obtain PE within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Traffic signal and roadway lighting design, CAD and field work.
• ITS, signal interconnection, and traffic technology design.
• Signal timing at corridor level; field-based tuning.
• Support of traffic safety and Smart Mobility projects.
• Prepare and review construction plans, specs, and estimates.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with other disciplines.
