Job summary

At AtkinsRéalis, we seek an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 for our Austin, TX office. You will provide administrative and operations support, compile data, prepare reports, and use CAD software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) to produce schematics and design plans.

Education: must have completed 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027. Experience: no prior experience required for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Qualifications

• 60 hours toward civil engineering degree required by Summer 2027 (ABET-accredited).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD or MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Compile data and prepare reports.
• Produce schematics and design plans with CAD (MicroStation/AutoCAD).
• Assist with design plans and traffic signal models.
• Coordinate within the organization to ensure policy alignment.
• Participate in project and organizational meetings.
