AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support our Henderson, NV office. You will assist with data collection, report preparation, and CAD-based schematic drawings under supervision.

This entry-level role is ideal for students pursuing civil engineering; basic Office skills and CAD familiarity are valued. The program offers mentoring, exposure to projects across transportation, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred)
• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Compile data and prepare reports.
• Use CAD (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) to produce schematics, drawings and design plans.
• Assist with preparation of design plans and traffic signal models.
• Coordinate within the organization to ensure policy alignment.
• Participate in project and organizational meetings.
