AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Henderson, NV. The role involves supporting operations, data compilation, and CAD drafting for traffic projects, with training and mentorship provided.

This entry-level internship requires completion of 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree (ABET). CAD experience is preferred; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027.
• No work experience required; pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's in a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD software experience preferred (AutoCAD or MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Compile data and prepare reports.
• Use CAD software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) to produce schematics, drawings and design plans.
• Assist with design plans and traffic signal models.
• Coordinate within the organization unit to ensure policy consistency.
• Participate in project and organization meetings.
