Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior-level Traffic Engineer to lead traffic analyses, forecasts, and modeling for projects in the Carolinas. The role involves guiding multi-disciplinary teams, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualified candidates have a degree in engineering with several years of relevant experience, and a track record in client coordination and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, and manage schedule and budget on projects.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Assist with development of scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team’s work; mentor team to achieve objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client and teaming partners at staff level for the discipline.
• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
