Job summary

HNTB is seeking a seasoned professional to lead traffic engineering projects in the Carolinas, focusing on safety analyses and NCDOT safety assignments. You will oversee project scope, budgets, and schedules, liaising with clients and guiding a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, developing project management plans, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee, proposals, and contracts per HNTB practices.
• Serve as primary client liaison; manage project scope, schedule and budget to client satisfaction.
• Perform technical tasks including analysis, reports, design, specifications, and production.
• Lead and mentor project team; develop project management plan and staffing strategies.
• Support business development and client relationships; assist with proposals and interviews.
