Job summary

HNTB in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead traffic analyses, forecasts, and modeling for projects across the Carolinas. You will guide and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

This role requires strong technical and client-management skills, PE certification preferred, and the ability to coordinate with clients and partners while contributing to proposals and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work and manage schedule and budget on projects.
• Mentor and review work of team members across the discipline.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level.
• Support marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
