Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a senior traffic engineer to lead analyses, forecasts, and modeling for Carolina projects from its Columbia footprint. You will oversee discipline work, manage scope and budgets, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients and partners on multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver traffic analyses, forecasts, and modeling for projects in the Carolinas and beyond.
Plan discipline-specific work, manage schedule and budget, and mentor team members.
Coordinate with clients and partners and contribute to marketing and proposal efforts.
Ensure high-quality deliverables on time and within scope and budget.
Collaborate across multiple technical disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
