Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 1–3 years of experience and 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass background check, including MVR.
• Must pass a drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Willing to travel statewide; some overnight stays; nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to and from projects and on work sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to and from projects and on work sites to protect workers.
• Place temporary construction signs and position arrow/variable message boards.
• Set up traffic cones and other safety devices; monitor work zone.
• Perform shop work and basic maintenance on equipment.
