Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II in Baton Rouge, LA to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. The role involves setting up and removing signs, cones, and barricades and guiding motorists with hand signals and stop/slow paddles to ensure safety.

The position requires outdoor work in various weather and the ability to stand long hours. We provide ATSSA flagger training, safety instruction, and a benefits package including 401(k),

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Must meet DOT requirements and wear safety gear.
• Willingness to travel statewide and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove traffic control devices around work zones.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles and hand signals.
• Maintain clear communication with team via two-way radios.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and stand for extended periods.
• Travel to job sites as required.
