Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in the United States is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones, and barricades to ensure public safety and guide motorists using hand signals and traffic control devices.

The role requires standing for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions and excellent attention to detail. Training in ATSSA Flagger and Defensive Driving is preferred, with travel and overnight stays

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Background check incl. MVR.
• Must pass a DOT drug test.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed.
• Defensive Driver training completed.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays.
• Able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and barriers to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Communicate with team using two-way radios.
• Stand and walk outdoors for long periods.
• Lift and move equipment as needed.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Work in varying weather and loud outdoor environments.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
