Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones, and barricades and communicate with motorists using signals to keep everyone safe.

The role requires outdoor work in various weather, ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel statewide with possible overnight stays. A valid driver’s license and ATSSA Flagger training are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Background check and DOT drug test required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and stand for long periods.
• Must travel statewide with occasional overnight stays and be available nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and barricades to divert traffic.
• Manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Communicate with team members using two-way radios.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Work outdoors in traffic and weather conditions while adhering to safety policies.
