Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones, and barricades, use stop/slow paddles, and communicate clearly with drivers and teammates to keep everyone safe.

This role requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and the ability to stand for long periods. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background and DOT drug testing, ATSSA Flagger

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training and Defensive Driver training required.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles and clear signals.
• Maintain communication with team via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk up to 10 hours; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel statewide with occasional overnight stays; rotate on-call schedule.
