Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction zones and ensure public and worker safety. The role involves setting up and removing traffic control devices, using stop/slow paddles, and communicating with motorists and crew.

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather, stand for long periods, and lift items as needed. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass DOT background and drug tests, and complete ATSSA

Qualifications

• Background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones and barricades to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team via two-way radios.
• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods outdoors.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
