RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. The role involves setting up and taking down signs, cones, and barricades to ensure public safety while guiding motorists with hand signals and paddles.

Candidates must hold a valid driver's license, pass DOT and drug tests, wear required safety gear, and be able to work outdoors in varying weather. Occasional statewide travel and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear proper safety equipment (boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest).
• Able to travel statewide with occasional overnight stays and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsabilités

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Communicate with team members using two-way radios.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
