RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II in Ashland, KY. This non-exempt role directs traffic around construction sites and work zones, using signs, cones, and barricades to keep workers and the public safe.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teammates via two-way radios, setting up devices, and maintaining clear communication while standing for long periods. Training and safety are emphasized, with opportunities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Background check, including motor vehicle records.
• Drug test and DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training.
• Willingness to travel statewide, with overnight stays, and to work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the flow of traffic around construction sites and work zones using signs and traffic control devices.
• Set up and take down traffic control devices, and communicate with motorists using hand signals.
• Use stop/slow paddles and two-way radios to coordinate with the team.
• Stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Inspect and transport equipment, drive company vehicles, and adhere to safety policies.
