Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems in the United States is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up signs, cones, and barricades and communicate with motorists using signals and paddles.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods outdoors, and readiness to travel statewide, with some overnight stays and potential night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Drug test and DOT requirements.
• Wear safety equipment (boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
• Operate two-way radio.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Clear communication with contractors and internal teams.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.
• ATSSA Flagger training completed.
• Willingness to travel statewide with overnight stays; nights/weekends possible.
• Rotating on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices around work areas.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear communication with team using two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; lift/move items over 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment to/from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
