RoadSafe Traffic Systems in Huntington, WV is seeking a Traffic Control Flagger II to direct traffic around construction zones and ensure safety for workers and the public. You will set up signs, cones and barricades and coordinate with motorists using hand signals and two-way radios.

The role requires standing for long periods, outdoor work in all weather, and passing a DOT background check and drug test. ATSSA Flagger and Defensive Driver training are required, with statewide travel and

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass background check and drug test with DOT requirements.
• Complete ATSSA Flagger training and Defensive Driver training.
• Willing to travel statewide, with nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices to divert traffic.
• Manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Communicate with contractors and team using two-way radios.
• Stand/walk up to 10 hours a day; lift items over 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Work outdoors in various weather and traffic conditions.
