Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is the largest national provider of traffic safety products and services in the United States. The Flagger directs traffic around work zones, sets up signs and devices, communicates with motorists, and works outdoors in varying weather.

A valid license, DOT-compliant drug testing, and ATSSA/Defensive Driver training are required. Training in York PA during the first week is mandatory; candidates must be able to travel to job sites, lift items up to 50 pounds, and operate

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass a criminal background check including MVR.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends.
• Willingness to commute to York PA for training during first week.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear communication with team using two-way radios.
• Stand or walk for up to 10 hours a day outdoors.
• Move and lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Work in varying outdoor weather conditions and traffic environments.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
