Coastal Elite Pro is seeking Traffic Safety Protectors in Staunton, VA to work on-site at various job sites. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You will set up traffic control devices, guide traffic, and maintain safety protocols.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure traffic control and safety. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided. Your key responsibilities include

• Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades
• Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• Following all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• Maintaining clean and safe vehicles and equipment

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds
• Willingness to work in traffic and flexible schedules

• Alertness around moving traffic and respectful behavior towards others

Compensation and benefits

Compensation and benefits include hourly pay ($18.50–$19.25), overtime, pay raises, paid training, and traffic safety certification.
