The position involves working as a Traffic Safety Protector, assisting with traffic control at job sites. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades


• Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity


• Following all safety protocols learned during training


• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors


• Maintaining vehicles and equipment safety and cleanliness

The role requires outdoor work in all weather conditions, with shifts potentially including nights, weekends, or emergency hours. Physical stamina is necessary, including standing or walking 8-12 hours and lifting 40-50 pounds. A valid driver’s license, a willingness to work in traffic, and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications include the ability to work outdoors, flexibility, and passing a pre-hire screening, including a drug test. Respectful conduct towards coworkers, clients, and the public is mandatory.

Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $16.25 per hour, with overtime, paid training, and a traffic safety certification.
