Role Overview
As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades
- Using stop/slow paddles to direct traffic and monitoring activity at the site
- Adhering to all safety procedures learned during training
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment in a clean and safe condition
- Working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Qualifications Include
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for extended periods
- Capability to lift 40–50 pounds
- Willingness to work in traffic and various weather conditions
- Flexible schedule and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test
- Alertness around moving traffic and respectful conduct towards coworkers and the public
Compensation And Benefits
- Hourly pay between $17.00–$17.75, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year
