Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to work with a team across multiple job sites in North Carolina. Training will be provided, and no prior experience or degree is required.

You will set up and dismantle cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a paddle, and ensure safety at all times while communicating with teammates and supervisors. Position involves outdoor work year-round with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds for outdoor work.
• Willingness to work in traffic and varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and following training.

Role Overview

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Setting up and dismantling cones, signs, and barricades
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity
• Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment in a clean and safe condition
• Working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions

Qualifications Include

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 40–50 pounds, and work outside for extended periods
• Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather
• Flexibility and punctuality
• Passing pre-employment screening, including drug tests
• Commitment to safety and respectful interaction with coworkers and the public

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly pay between $17.50–$18.25, with opportunities for overtime and pay increases
