Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Salem, VA is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join a team at various job sites to ensure traffic control and safety. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities include setting up cones, signs and barricades; guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles; monitoring activity and safety protocols; communicating with teammates and supervisors; and maintaining equipment and work areas.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift 40–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility and punctuality are essential, along with passing a drug screening and adhering to safety rules.
• Respectful interaction with coworkers, clients, and the public is expected.

Compensation & Benefits include hourly pay ($17.00–$17.75), overtime, paid training, and safety certification.
