Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking aTraffic Safety Protector to manage traffic control at various job sites. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and you will be outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include setting up and dismantling traffic control devices, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety and equipment. The role offers overtime, paid training with certification, PTO, holidays, health insurance, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate outdoors.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 40–50 pounds.
• Must be alert about moving vehicles and follow safety rules.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including drug testing.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector

You will work with a team at various job sites to ensure traffic management and safety. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Your responsibilities include

• setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment
• guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles while monitoring site activity
• adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
• communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• maintaining vehicle and equipment safety and cleanliness
• You will work outdoors in all weather conditions and may be required to work nights, weekends, or emergency shifts. The role involves standing or walking for extended periods and lifting 40-50 pounds. Valid driver’s license and the ability to follow safety rules are essential.

Qualifications include

a valid driver’s license, physical ability to work outside, and a willingness to work in traffic environments. The job requires alertness around moving vehicles, respectfulness towards coworkers and the public, and passing pre-hire screening including drug testing.
