Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking Protectors to ensure traffic safety at job sites. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. You will set up traffic control devices, guide traffic with stop/slow paddles, and follow safety protocols.

This role requires outdoor work in all weather, with shift flexibility including nights and weekends. Benefits include paid training, potential for advancement, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Your Main Responsibilities Include

• Using stop/slow paddles to guide traffic and monitor site activity
• Following safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment in a safe, clean condition
• Working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Adapting to shift changes, including nights, weekends, or emergency hours
• Standing or walking for extended periods, potentially up to 12 hours

Qualifications Include

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 40-50 pounds, and work outside in various weather conditions
• Willingness to work in traffic and adhere to safety rules
• Flexibility and punctuality
• Pass pre-hire screening, including drug testing

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $17.00-$17.75, with overtime and pay increases over time
