Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is hiring a Traffic Safety Protector to support safety at diverse job sites. No experience required as extensive training and certification are provided.

You will set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic, and monitor activities while following safety protocols in all weather. This role may include nights and weekends with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including drug test.
• Reliable and punctual.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic management. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment
• Guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles and monitoring site activity
• Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment cleanliness and safety

You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, sometimes standing or walking for extended periods. Flexibility in shifts, including nights, weekends, or emergency work, is necessary. You must wear provided safety gear and bring steel-toe boots.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.25 per hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are included.
