Role Overview
As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, and barricades; guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles; and maintaining safety protocols.
You will communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, assist in keeping equipment and vehicles clean and safe, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods and lifting 40-50 pounds. Personal protective equipment such as helmets, goggles, vests, and weather gear are supplied; safety boots are your responsibility.
Pay: $15.50–$16.25 per hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are included.
