Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Sanford, NC is hiring a Protector to manage traffic safety at job sites. You will set up cones, signs, and barricades and guide traffic with stop/slow paddles as part of a team. No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided and paid.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, communicating with coworkers, maintaining equipment, and working outdoors in all weather. Shifts include nights and weekends with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required or essential.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Physically capable to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and pass drug screening.

Role Overview

The Protector is responsible for traffic safety and control at job sites, working with a team to set up cones, signs, barricades, and manage traffic flow using stop/slow paddles. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. Key duties include ensuring safety protocols, communicating effectively with team members, maintaining equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility for shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential. The role involves standing or walking for extended periods and lifting 40–50 pounds.
