Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Merrillville, IN is hiring a traffic control helper to join our field crew. No prior experience is required; paid training includes a traffic safety certificate. You will set up cones, signs, and barricades, monitor traffic, and guide drivers with stop/slow paddles.

This role requires being able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds outdoors in all weather. A flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement to Lead Protector or Field Supervisor are available.

Qualifications

Role Overview

The position involves working with a team at job sites to ensure traffic safety by setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles. No prior experience or degree is needed, as comprehensive training and support are provided.

Additional Details

Compensation:

$17.50–$18.25/hour, with overtime and salary increases within the first year. Paid training includes a traffic safety certificate.
